Default Bought a GT3

Oopss,

Flew to Stüttgart and bought a 996 GT3 Clubsport yesterday.

Then I sat 7 hours on the Autobahn and my back is killing me!

Congratulations!

This must be the new Germany with Western style freeway bottlenecks.

do i understand the euro models correct? they have three versions.
996gt3 (very similar to USA model if not identical)
996gt3 club sport (same as above, but has roll bar and certain other perf items)
996gt3rs

Ah, yes I guess it will get some exercise pretty soon actually
It's just the 7 hours in 140mph hitting small bumbs that kills it...
..and LOTS of bugz..

We've got three models here:
GT3 Mk.I - Optional as a Clubsport
GT3 Mk.II - Optional as a Clubsport
GT3 RS - Usually white with red or blue text/wheels on it.

The Clubsport comes with a LWF, Half/Full Rollcage, Fire extinguisher, Six-Point Belts and Nomex Recaros as Standard.

Ciao

The road legal European Mk.1 actually came in three specs. 1. with sport seats (Comfort), 2. with so called euro GT3 seats (Sport) and 3. Clubsport, while the Mk.2 came in four different specs., the three above plus the RS.

I also have a Clubsport version of the MKII 3. I didn't know it has LWF. Can anyone confirm this?

I don't think that the mkII GT3 clubsport has the LWF. It was standard on the mkI clubsports only.

Anyway, cngratulations Rassel. Looks like a beauty.

There are three variations
M002 - Road Version
M003 - Clubsport Version
M004 - GT3 RS (Street) (Only MK.II)

M002 has a 996.114.012.50 double-mass flywheel
M003 has a 964.102.239.31 flywheel

This all according to PET.
