Still waiting for the pictures.... He must be freaking out with all the email he's getting on it. Quick somebody off him 60k and he'll probably take it at this point.

I knew that car looked familiar. I will not disclose the details but I am pretty sure that car was wrapped up to the tune of $60K on the track. Could be right, could be wrong....never know! Previously trashed cars are never a good buy.

As to auction results, I have sold many, many, many cars through ebay motors. None have ever met the the reserve but all have sold for close to what I was asking or exactly what I was asking. All had many bids for lowball prices. Seems like the guys that actually bid on the majority of ebay car auctions are guys trying to get a stupid deal. Beond that, a real buyer sees the auction, cuts a deal, has the car inspected and the deal is done outside of ebay. Almost every car that I have seen that was actually won through an ebay auction that ran its course was either very rare or a trash pile. Just my .02.

Regardless of who is selling a GT3, do your homework and if the candidate still looks good to you proceed with the typical pre purchase inspections.

Even while brand new in Porsche AG's control, stufffff happens and the car gets fixed without disclosure to the buyer. It is allowed and normal for the industry.

I'm assuming it is still a good idea to get a PPI even for a CPO car?

What did the new buyer have to say about the frame and unibody damage, err, I mean, parking lot minor incident?
