I think what everyone means to say is that the 996 GT3 and C2 are both narrow body cars. Thus the GT3 wheel sizes and offsets fit a standard Narrowbody C2 perfectly. In fact that is "the" setup to run for track duty.

Have a great weekend !

Pretty close Paul. The setup isn't exactly perfect for a narrow bodied non-GT car. Very close though. As long as the suspension is setup properly (other than "bouncy" stock) they will look/work great. To be honest I haven't ever swapped my GT3 wheels onto my CAB ever. Might be something I should do and take some pics so people can get an idea what the offset and sizes look like on a non-GT car.

The GT3 has 5mm spacer all around isn't it? Would a NB need the spacers to get the right offset?

Anyone have the wheel weights? There's a guy selling these w/ new MPSCs and I'm curious to see if it'd be a good buy.

One of the other posts mentions spacers though I could be wrong?

Not really wrong as that is a 997GT3 you are talking about not the 996GT3 that this thread pertains to.

Dell, was it the GT3 MK1 that had 5mm spacers all around?

Also, the wheel weights are 19lbs and 20lbs

I just bought a set of CCWs C14s from a guy in VA. If I had seen any SX3-Rs, which I had on my GT3 previously, I might have gone that route. How much is he asking?

Dell, sorry for the confusion on my part. I just checked with another source and found out that the MK1 had to have 5mm spacers to get its wheels to clear its brakes. MKII has bigger wheels so no spacers.

ltcjmramos, the wheelset w/tires is going for 3K. The weight is very comparable to the Champions (8.5 and 11") and Volks TE37 (9" and 11").

I'm not entirely positive since the MkI was a RoW only car. We do have a few MkI owners here on Rennlist, maybe one of them can chime in......
