1973 RS
Well, since we have all been talking about the 997 GT3 RS (of course, I can't wait until it comes to the states), I thought this might be some additional inspiration. I was at the Greenwich, CT Concours today and saw this special car -- they had many special cars.
I spoke with the owner and he mentioned the car was from Germany and only had 19,000 miles. Also, he mentioned he had a 996 GT3 so we are in good company. His son gets to drive the car from time-to-time.

Not sure in the race history. Yes, the outside of the car was very clean. The inside, which I should have taken pictures, looked pretty good with a few changes. The car had a new alpine radio, OMP seats -- not sure the year of the seats but they were probably of that period. Also, the steering wheel has either OMP or Momo. I am guessing the owner lives in CT and based on my conversation has many cars in his gagage.

The registration is from Netherlands.
I'm lucky and old enough to have my first ride into a Porsche on the Bugatti track (Le Mans) within exactly the same car as this one.
It was very impressive and I think it's a pity not to see so many real RS 73's in action now.
