thanks - really good read and interesting to note that that tyres are specially developed cf normal MPSC and the car is more roadusable versus Mk1 and Mk2 GT3s. Can't wait !!!

Unbelievable that after almost 10 years of SMG development, BMW still can not get the
SMG right.

GT3 sounding more fab by the day..............can't wait for the RS. Am running the Sports Cups on my 997S.........highly recommended if you can afford the (likely) wear factor

SIXPACK, you said you're runnig MICHELIN SPORTS CUP, what do you think about thisd tire on the roads (not track)? Have u ever used your car with this tire on rain? Does it works like any other tires on rain or not? I read a lot that this tire it is not so usable on rain (dangerous). And abou the lifetime, 20.000km (12k mls) or more?

Make sure you factor in some negative camber with the MPSC.

Have run MPSC's through a Texan deluge...much to my surprise they held up, granted i slowed to ~30mph...but they did not lose traction.

Now if you've standing water I'd venture in another direction...
