I don't see the engine mounts making a big difference in the car's overall handling. I would be far more concerned with other bushings (suspension). I'd love further information on this if anybody has some.

I put the RS motor mounts on...they are 993 RS with a longer bolt, got them from Gert. Not much difference in vibration or noise. I did it, based on this letter, before I first took it to the track, so I cannot comment on perceived improvement.

HI gays,
Im a little bit in the winter sleep right now but busches issue always interessted me much. What stiffer busches to suspension do you recommend and what do you think about stronger sway bars?
Chuck, RS motor mounts you mean 996 GT3 RS? I ve found these ones

The mounts that I used were from Gert. He is always great to work with. The 993 and 996 mounts are the same, except for the length of the bolts.
Martin...don't lose hope. Spring will come!

you don't need to change the motor mounts, you NEED to change to monoballs night and day difference
The deflection of the rubber on the motor mounts is not a big issue unless you're running slicks and can actually get the G's to distort them, Dell will agree, but Austin will differ. He says from his TRG experience that they do in fact deflect, but those cars run HARD in Grand Am. If you're at that level by all means.
