Does anybody know: Are GTRs street legal? The Brembo website says Not.

A very good question.
I have a catalogue for GPR,who i believe are the main importer for Brembo products into the UK.
In it they say that their GT kits which i imagine would be a step down from the GTR setup 'may only be used in racing and on private roads, unless you have obtained a new approval in compliance with directive 98/12/ec.
Within Europe I would imagine this means that the GTR kit is not Road Legal.
I imagine GPR would be able to tell you. They can be contacted on 01327 855585.It would be interesting to hear what they say.

I wouldn't worry about it. I had a set of 930 calipers on a hotrod 914/6 that had less than 1mm clearance, and I never had any issues.

AVoyvoda-

These brakes, due to the 8 pad front configuration and what looks to be a very ridgid caliper design should have great braking feel with a very solid pedal, easy modulation and great initial bite.

True?

BTW, I had an Acura (Honda) Integra Type R N/GT some years ago which came from the factory with very little clearance between the wheel and front caliper and it was not an issue except for stick on wheel weight clearance issues.
