Yes congratulations again Eric. That car is really beautiful, I'm very impressed you had your 750iL painted a similar color in preparation.

congratulations!

interesting to see all the people installing RS wings

love the mirrors too- but i'm afraid on a dark car (mine included) its very difficult to notice - but yes, its all about the details (and marginal weight savings )

Don't worry John. Eric's GT3 seats left here yesterday and I will be installing them next week out in CA. It will be the second time I have installed GT3 seats in that same car...

It looks great Eric. How was the drive home in the new car???

Just grinning ear to ear on the way home.

Surprisingly, I've never seen another midnight blue GT3. I'm sure there are more around, but it's pretty rare. Maybe more rare than Atlas Gray? My last 3 cars were black, so a change of pace was due.

Beautiful car, very beautiful.

It's so good to see all the GT3 going to the right hands these days. Is there a better street legal track car?

I don't think the RS wing and CF mirrors look good at all on Blue. They look good on a Seal Grey car, I can take them if you don't want them.

Congratulations.

Folks,

Educate me. Is the FG wing looks only, or it actually improves performance? If it is a performance mod, in what regard, cornering and high speed stability? At what speed would it make a difference, say over 150 MPH?

Thanks.

congratulations Eric from another new member of the club.

As you say, now we need to learn how to tame these beasts. My first DE is next week and it should be interesting.

Taking it easy in the first few DEs would be a good idea. As with any car you're not familiar with, it takes time to learn its characteristics. Let's face it, the car is a lot more than most of us can handle.

Have fun.
