Does any1 know how many GT3 were produced for the US in 2004 and 2005 respectively?

Any1 with a color breakdown of the supposed 150 in 2005?

Excellence says it's 1,017 in the article on the new GT3 (and 335 GT2's).

As many have said, we don't know the exact number since both 2004 and 2005 model year VIN patterns cover United States, Canada, Brazil, and Mexico. I don't think Porsche AG released the GT3 distribution history by color or production by country.

Where did Excellence get their data (not saying it is wrong just curious)?

I have a list of 167 for 05. I have options, color, dealer info etc. on about 50 of them. If anyone would like to add to it, please provide a minimum of the 9th and the last 3 digits of the VIN,(example XXXXXXXX 5 XXXXX 061) and color. Anything else you would like to add is fine.

By VIN, I have information on 62 MY 2005 GT3 in my personal data base. I think I need a life because while it is fun keeping an eye out for the 996 GT3 cars it is a lot more work than most people realize (recording data). Having a 996 GT3 Registry might be popular...

The number was told to me by Champion Porsche in Florida when I picked up mine. Is it accurate, who knows? I've got to believe that there were more that 62 for '05.

I think its great idea to get a Registry together for MY GT3's and colour, brakes, etc.

Is the MY and VIN's for NA as a whole or just USA.

I had understood Canada got 13 for 2005 - makes sense at a 10:1 ratio for USA:Canada population.

The number I always heard was 101 GT3's for North America for 2005. I don't have any idea how accurate that number is though.
