Can you guys who have performance mods to GT3's please list them, the price and the Hp gains (with or without dyno results). Also list mods that you regret doing.

it's not that easy to gain hp on GT3, and you really dont need it.
but you can get some exhasut to make it more orgasmic sounding. euro pipe comes to mind.
some like short shift kit, i hate it.
euro GT3 seat is an absolute.
if you are willing to put a roll bar in the car for DE events, harness will help too.
center console removal kit helps some ppl heel and toe.
LWT flywheel is a big plus.
moton clubsport shocks if you are really nuts like me.
get some lightwt wheels, jongbloed, fikses, kinessis, bbs motorsport.
not much else really.

I heard doing gears on a GT3 makes the biggest difference. But as far as actual hp there is not that much to be gained. Like Mooty said, the flywheel, another non hp upgrade that makes a nicer driving experience. If you are going to do the whole exhaust thing, I think other than sound, the only way to get some hp is to do the whole thing, headers, cats and mufflers. If I end up getting one I have to set it up for T1 so I can not do some of the mods I want to but my list of mods would be....
Headers
high flow cats
Muffler bypass
Gears
LTW flywheel
Suspension of some sort
Euro GT3 Seats
Cage
etc etc etc.

Mooty nailed it. Trying for more hp is mostly a waste of money. Better to reduce weight & add safety equipment. LWF is also a nice upgrade from what I hear (haven't done that yet).

My favorite mods:
GT3 seats
muffler bypass pipes
TE rollbar
Schroth harness
RS wing (some bling, some functionality)

If you're doing the LWFW do the crankcase vent valve as well, a reported 8-10 HP for about $30. The only inexpensive HP I've found.

Agreed with Holger and Mooty. + do the suspension items to hold your alignment, ie Cup toe links, rear upper monoballs at the shock towers, the control arm inboard bearings and forward trailing arm discs.

The LWFK (light weight flywheel kit) and other lightening methods are they way to go...
Muffler Bypasses or MaxFlow mufflers by Fabspeed
GT3 Euro seats or other lighter Recaro shells
Console Delete
Jongbloed or Forgelines or other wheels

For aero, go RS nose, RS rear wing, Cup Car front lip spoiler.

The alignment is key, going to RS specs is a good blend.

Could you elaborate about the crankcase vent. I don't understand how it helps, or what it does. Roughly how much will it cost to install at my Porsche dealer.

Most regretted mod = B&M SSK. Made the shifter feel like a bolt action rifle but the increased notchiness and effort took away the joy of shifting.

The LWF is a good mod, but I'd save it till you have a reason to go in ($$).

Suspension upgrades are next on my short list... VB should be able to steer you right. Think he'd do a two for one??

Haven't quite made up my mind about the ssk..... Anyone here reversed the change back to stock??

Would like to try again with stock shifter for a while. If the stock shift fits into the B&M shifter sockets it should be a simple reverse install.

Real GT3 seats and weight reduction (which changing seats obviously is also).

Some good stuff that has already been mentioned, such as LWF, headers, sport cats & then maybe no mufflers are really good but first, change the seats to GT3 seats (or some other buckets) and then door panels to a 993 RS style flat panes, take out the trunk carpet, any sound deadening etc.

Also, and this is personal and not mean for bashing, I mean this: I'd remove the cupholder and close the slot where they are. I know it doesn't save weight in any real way but this is a big principe issue for me.

I just got a few Porsche GT3R and GT3RS and GT3RSR Porsche motorsports CD with the service manuals and parts catalogues. They have the part numbers for the Porsche motorsports ( racing division) upgrades to your GT3. If you are interested let me know.

When some of y'all say "Euro" GT3 seat what exactly is that? How many types of GT3 seat are there? I thought 2......the Leather and the Cloth.

You also could regear your tranny in addition to the mods suggested above. Expensive but it makes a difference.
