Best value fore money: Clubsport package @ 0,00€ including the rear rollcage, 6-point harness, fire extinguisher, battery master switches and no door pockets. You however have to pay the price of the Carbon bucket seats @ 4.582,00€ to get the Clubsport package as a no cost option, this is however all that you will need in my opinion.

Here in the USA we will probably get the bucket seat option, which if it translated directly euros to dollars would be around $5500.

But we would not get the Clubsport package to go along with the seats.

Why is the Club sport package a no charge option, but the seats by themselves are $5k?

Those are the CGT seats, they retail for $6k. If the option is $5,500, then the GT3 stock seats are worth $500.

i think money would be better spend if you skip the seats and go with spg hans seats ala cup cars, unless the CGT seats are carbon/kevlar backed.

Do you know of a place that can coat these seats in nice leather or leather alcantara combo?

Hmm, I would not mind a Sparco Evo 2 coated with some nice leather
to replace the factory seats in my 05.

Ciao,

Are the carbon bucket seats comfortable for normal driving?

i would love to have the bucket seats for DE and such, but dont want to ruin my back due to the 90% of the rest of my driving..

if it's like recard spg, pole position, or GT3 fixed back seats, they are very comfortable for me. in fact i prefer those over any factory cushy seat.

Just sent my order for a Gt3 to the dealer. I got an April production slot so hope it all goes according to plan.

Here's my order:
420 GT3 Wheels
U2 GT Silver Mettalic
XDP Wheels Painted in Exterior Colour
P74 Bi-Xenon Lighting System
P12 Automatically Dimming Interior and Exterior Mirrors/Rain Sensor
450 Porsche Ceramic Composite (PCCB)
640 Sport Chrono Package Plus
003 Club Sports Package
P02 Light Weight Bucket Seats
XSY Seat Belts in Speed Yellow
079 Leather Interior Black, Upholstery GT3
EAA Leather Package Switch Panel
XTV Door Finishers in Leather
XMZ Center Console in leather
X69 Door Gaurds in Carbon
P16 Porche Communication Management (PCM) Including Navigation Module
666 Telephone Module

Going with PCCB's after a lengthy thinking session because I have had no problems what so ever with my PCCB II on my turbo S.
