So it looks like PCM is an option and you can get the car without navigation console.

i wish i had sat in any of them

it looks like CGT seats - i gotta find someone who will let me sit in their CGT

Doesn't seem you can order the carbon trim untill production in July 2006. Would you guys choose white as exterior colour (really starting to like it)?? When looking at pics it seem like you can have alcantara as well, anyone know?
Thanks!

crispenigl, it's an April production slot, so delivery hopefully around end of may/begining of June.

White is going to be very hot color for the GT3. Alcantara is standard in the Gt3. You get steering wheel, shifter ****, center console arm rest, hand brake, and door cards in Alcantara.

Have a question about the bucket seats; on some pics they are in leather/alcantara and some in nomex. Is it possible to choose or??

Any other "must have" options you guys recommend?
Thanks!

The nomex comes as part of the club sport package. The leather is an option on the regular GT3.

Club sport package is a great deal, you get a roll bar and those very expensive seats for free. That's a must have option in my book. The Sport Chrono Plus option only comes with the PCM, so I had to get that as well. PCM comes with NAV standard, so I added the telephone module to that. You see where I'm going?

I was under the impression that the seats had to be purchased as a seperate option if you opted for the $0 upgrade to Clubsport.....

My Bad, just checked and turns out that Dave@EFI and you are correct. The Pre-Lim Order guide didn't spell that out and had the seats as costing "0" if with the club sport option.

I bet the US cars will all have the ubiquitous PCM/nav screen.

Why can't they make this silly "feature" an option on all 911 models imported into the US? It appears to be optional in ROW cars so it could easily be made optional for the US market.

It would also be great if they didn't force you to get the ugly wart with the sport-chrono option...

why get the club sprt package and then ruin it with all that rediculous extra nonsense? I don't get it....you have an opportunity to get a stripped car and you are going to make it into a sissy car.......the Horror....

Leif, Notice that nothing adds any significant weight. It's all leather options and those add nothing. The PCM I had to get because Chrono Sport Plus, which some people say increases the torque in the sport setting, can only be had with PCM. PCM also comes standard with the NAV module so I added the telephone module to that.

Also it's not a CUP car, it's a street car that I can drive occasionally on the track. If that makes it a "sissy" car than that's ok by me.

One other thing that I noticed in the GT3 Order Guide. US market cars won't come with PCM standard, but a sunroof is standard for the US/Canadian market!
