Default Mk1 GT3

Hi!
Just thought I'd share a few pics with you of my new baby... an original Mk1 GT3 in Polar Silver. Just 1 of 4 UK spec cars made in this colour, I picked her up earlier today and spent the whole day just getting to know her. Her responses never cease to amaze me, and she's one of the few cars where you can genuinely feel the depth of precision engineering that is almost always going to exceed my own abilities - something I consider as a good sign for the future to learn and develop my driving skills on. And as a previous air-cooled diehard, the soundtrack of her race-wail is a definite winner over my previous 993's "velvet chainsaw"!
Enjoy the pics...
Cheers -

Wow. Stunning car. Regarding the 2nd pic, how in the world do you reach the pedals?

Hi guys - thanks for the welcome. I am absolutely over the moon with her!

RJFabCab - great question! If only all family cars were like the GT3!

Question: why wasn't the Mk1 approved for the US market? What would be required to import the car to the States?

I bought mine on Monday - in Arctic Silver. The MK1 is a great car. I am lucky in that the previous owner had fitted 6 pot brakes, 100 cell cats, cargraphic exhaust and lightweight flywheel & clutch from the clubsport, so I have absolutely no modding to do at all! Bought mine privately and got a bargain. Very happy.
