Default New Headers & Stage IV GT2...

Here's another shot of the new headers going on to a Stage IV car we had today... What's funny about this car is that it has gone from being stock over a year ago to a GT640 then back to stock and was sold locally to a buddy of mine. Now it's back to a stage IV, which I think is perfect for a GT2. This is actually the same white GT2 that was in the shoot out for Excellence with ERP's double adjustable JRZ's that we set up. It won the track event but at the GT640 level it scared the pants off of me. I prefer the stock turbos boosted up a bit with good software (GIAC), an exhaust, headers and DV's and bob's your uncle...

PS Obviously from the last photo (good plate man) he was off to go see Broke Back Mountain

Thanks Jonathan.. Gareth was a really neat Porsche-lover and despite it being 100 and I don't know what, we survived! Funny thing is the car looks, drives so different from even then. I think it was a 10.8 second car then and now is a 10.5 @ 135'er...

So that's James old car and now Ed's right? It would be funny if it ended up 640 again. I thought it was a PSI 550 car? Did that change?

I have stage IV with the headers and the race file, removed a good 150lbs and .......... Holy #$%& it's fast! You must be pointed straight when you get on it and have pleanty of room in front of you!

Yes it is indeed! It's funny how that worked out in terms of changing hands.... Both great guys and it _very_ nearly ended up a 640 car. I think I actually scared him away from doing it. Honestly that car in the GT640 mode is too scary for me. We've done about 7-8 GT2's locally this past 6months and all of them were done to the 600HP mark and left alone. I'm more comfy with that... He doesn't have the race gas file but the 91. If he finds a way to get access to 100 octane then that'll change He has the GIAC 2X Stage IV Flash, EVO K24 Headers, EVO DV's, a PSI Exhaust (I think it's loud?), EVO Intake and soon some hoses... He saw the pic of your car stripped down like that and thought it was cool. Now he'll want to do that too

Thanks Chuck... its finally coming along.. hit a few littel snags along the way but pretty well dialed in at this point... one minor suspension issue to resolve but other than that she's perfect.

how the 3 treating you?
