Pop here Cherry at MSR Houston
Finaly I was in town to be able to attend a track event. To my good luck was at the brand new MSR track out side houston. Conditons for the event could had been better. All do these was a Cobra sponsor event I had the time of mi life. Now I know what my babay can do and what it was ment for.
To eaven furnder my Luck my intructor Wayne ( Dirver intructor for more than 15 years) picked me out since no one had expirience on rear engine cars but him.
First 2 secions was very relax wile achiving and passing cars never got the car out of 3rd ( Boy o boy !!) with that much power why eaven bother ( or at least that is what I thought. The feeling of the car is nothing compare to diving it on the street. So if there is any one out there that has not sone any of these events and have a GT3 YOU MUST!!!! take it out and discover the wild beast inside these curvy fela!! After the first day best time 2.07s ( I though not bad for first timer. To my surprise every one was at 2 or under 2 sec. Best lap time 1.45 or so from a GT2 cup Car. At these point I was " Dame I need to learn and sit more on these car"
Second day cam by and a little more confidence came and Wanye instuction and 2nd gear and 4rth came to play. Wow now we are playing with FIRE!!!! at these point I realized that I had just explore about 20% of the abilities of the car buy the end of the day my best time along with my fellow Elise buddys 1.55s . Not bad still I read hear from some one here that the best thing to do is get sit down time on the car before you can truly explore the limits. I think that if any thing I explore about 35 or 40 % of what these car can do.
Know I know why I spend the money that I spend on it and I dont regret a single penny!!!

Great to hear. Congrats on the goodtime! Feel free to PM me and we can have You come up to MSR near Ft Worth when we do a private get together there on the long track. I have another friend out of Mexico City I have instructed . He comes up and runs every month or so and I am sure You would enjoy meeting him.

It was a fun weekend! Can't beat the weather. 80 in December!
I was the guy in the cupcar. I was drooling all over your GT3 on Sunday. Love the cf wing & mirrors. I managed to knock off a few 1:42s. I'm sure our buddy, Glen will knock that down to mid-high 30s when he makes it down there.

Glen please let me know when you guys do that event. I for sure will make sure to be in town for that. After these weekend I am traveling around track days. To much work and not enough fun is not RIGHT!!!
JW just like you where drooling over my car I was Drooling over yours. Have some really good action picks of your car. Send me your PM and I will forward does for you or let me see if I can post them some where so you can down load them. Also maybe next time you can take me for a ride. That way I can learn some tricks form a PRO ( At list in my book if you have a Cut Car!!)
Ivan YOU SUCK!!!!! Thanks for introducing me to these events. I am going to start sending you the tire and brake pad bills. Is only fear is your fault

nmex,
Glen's the "pro" here. I'm still learning from the master.
If you get a chance, shoot some pics over to:
