"RMS" Blessing !!!
Just got my car back. Apparently the RMS has been redesigned and uses a different flange to secure it according to my mechanic. Should not leak anymore.
The RMS warranty repair was the perfect time to replace the stock clutch/flywheel with the RS version. Thank you Gert !!! Your kit was complete as expected.
Observations:
You can hear a little mechanical noise in neutral. Not really that noticeable, imo. Depress the clutch and it goes away. Overall it's an awesome upgrade. The car accelerates much faster and smoother in gears 1-3. Haven't made it into 4th yet...
When the clutch is released, it seems to engage quicker than stock. Less travel before engagement. Has anybody noticed this ?
Rev matching when downshifting is easier than before. I thought it would be harder since the revs drop quicker but with the quicker clutch engagment, it seems more intuive and natural. Love this car !!! This mod comes highly recommended, especially if you can get it done for part costs only when doing an RMS warranty repair. Can't wait to get it on the track !!!!

It's like a new car. Gone is that herky jerky 1st gear feeling when leaving the driveway to warm the car up for a drive....

Rockitman,
I am not one of those guys who think potential RMS problems mean the "sky is falling." I frankly don't think it is that big of a deal. However, I would keep a close eye on your RMS. It most likely will be perfectly fine, honestly. Nonetheless, the RMS has be redesigned a few times and I know many who have been told that the redesign solved the problem, but it reappeared anyway. Just a little FYI.

OK,
It is obvious that with the LWF and clutch additcion you have a case of terminal modding/upgrade syndrone. Since you have not done the suspension and it is the only cure known, you have no choice but to continue upgrading until every one is done.
My doctor tells me that the only way to cure the syndrone is to do all the mods that are available. Hope you doc feels the same! :-)
Seroiusly though, the LWF/clutch is also on my agenda as a first mod. Glad to hear you like it so much.

Rockitman, if you like your GT3 now, I bet you will love it after you go to the track. Also, if Larry's video looks great to you now, wait till after you go yourself and then watch it. It is like reliving the track (albeit with better driving skills)
