The front frame looks bent to me. 40 - 50k in repairs easily.

20Kish for the frame (Tub) and respray alone - not including the damaged bits.
Engine looks fine and intact - good canidate for a switch to a new chassis (996 bodies in white were 25K or so a couple of years ago)

I wish! I've read numerous times that the TT/GT3 motors (non-M96) won't bolt up to the standard 911/Boxster tranny. I think Ruf just completed a 3.8L transplant into a 987...

I am not too far from the car. Let me know if anyone wants me to go look at it for them.

I don't know how one can tell if the "frame" is bent from those photos. That car could be anything from a good rebuildable track car to a total loss. Anyone who bids sight unseen would have to be NUTS.

Interesting that the back window is gone. Wonder if that happened in the wreck or the wrecking yard.

$45k is waay too much IMO. There is a lot of damage on the body alone not to mention hidden mechanical items. Even fixed up to new condition, you'll be looking at a low resell value.

Well the item no longer exists. Besides if I considered resale value I wouldnt have done all the mods to my 944.
