I am considering to make my own buckle. The pictures uploaded really helps to get the correct shape of the buckle. The only thing I am lacking is the width of the buckle, then I could scale the picture to a correct size and fabricate one myself. Does anybody know, or could help me in measuring the width of the buckle (the part that goes into the female part which is in the car.)

I now have the deactivation bar installed but am still working on the buckle (male) portion too. Any more info would be apprecaited guys.

While this will not solve your belt problem, if anyone else is looking for a Zoom seat, just buy the Starriser Comfy from Britax, alot cheaper (about $89 at some internet retailers) and the same seat but without the ugly pattern Porsche had. I use it in my 996 TT back seat for my boy.
