As a data point, I've tracked my PCCB cars - 996TT, GT3 (only once so far), and CGT (4 track days), along with my 360 Stradale (about 9 track days) and I had zero problems. I love the way the ceramics feels compared to iron. My theory is that people with hard braking styles and/or too little cool down are the people having trouble. Some short tracks may contribute to the problem. My brake technique is easy on - then hard - then easy off. I have another track buddy with GT3 PCCBs (lots of track days) and he is also trouble free.
