Default Track Days in the Atlanta Area

I may be moving from Northern Cal to Atlanta. The track options I have in my area are fantastic. Whether its Laguna, Sears, Thunderhill, or Buttonwillow there always seems to be an organization running a track day when I want to go.

What is the situation in Atlanta? Is it fairly easy to do track days at Road Atlanta? How about Barber Motorsports park in Birmingham?

Thanks

Welcome to Atlanta, it's a great town. There are many options for track days depending on what you want to do and how far you want to go. The Ferrari club, Porsche Club and other clubs have events. In addition you can work with www.chinmotorsports.com for southern tracks, you can do track days directly with www.panozracingschool.com (under track days). You can also watch some of the other track day companies for interesting venues near Atlanta. I've done mostly Panoz and Chin at Road Atlanta and Robling Road with an Atlanta Motor Speedway here and there... In addition it's pretty cheap to rent little Taladega, I was scheduled to do one with 10 guys but my schedule changed. When you get dialed into the track day group here you will find that you can do one almost every weekend if you want...

Good luck
