Part number is 996.107.491.91, it's on page 168 of Cup parts list, illustration #13 described as "non-return valve crankcase vent". I bet www.carnewal.com could order for you.

Wulf,
Is it OK to fix it on a street car that does not get engine rebuilt nearly as often as a Cup/race car or will it create over-pressure in the crankcase?
Ciao,
Johannes E.

The letter is an R. The part no. on my invoice is as quoted by Cupcar.
The valve should give you 5-10 hp on the MKII. My understanding is that the valve was introduced as standard on the cup cars but not on the MKII's ( I could be wrong on that but I don't think so). That is consistent with the part still being a motorsport part.
I haven't dynoed my car since installation so I can't confirm or deny any increase. I had the gearbox out so in it went.

Johannes,
I couldn't say for sure because I wasn't there when it went in. From memory (which isn't too reliable these days from all the ethanol therapy) the whole of the hex part of the valve comes off to make a cylinder.
I am waiting to hear back from my tech today and I will post details of how the valve is machined and why and why it is different to the cup motor. Anyone need any other info while I'm talking to him?

I'm curious how the valve attaches to the engine in the factory installation of the valve.
The racing parts list shows the valve as a separate part, yet shows the same part number, 996.107.033.95, for the console that the valve attaches to as the street engine. My bet is that this part number is for both console and valve together either race or street.
Why would the race parts list show the valve as a separate item and the street parts list not show it separate.

OK the word from the tech is:-
1. In the cup car the valve scews into the manifold hence the thread on the bottom of the valve and the hex moulding
2. In the street car there is no valve but a breather hose. It is pressure neutral. The valve is inserted into the breather hose so the hex part has to be machined off.
3. It can be done on the street car without dropping the gearbox but it is a FPITA and is easier to dop the box
Unfortunately I am still unable to say definately whether it's the same for the MkI and MkII.
Cupcar can you please post a copy of the illustrations particularly the console.
