Hi folks. Just looking over the pages of Grassroots Magazine I see an AMB display unit. I've been thinking of getting a timing system on and I've been using a Hot laptimer but with the AMB system it offers more info. My question is other then the display unit I have to get the transponder as well but if say I run with a group that uses AMB timing system would I need to tell them I have one so it can be displayed or it's automaticcally detected with the AMB. The transponder is automatically read by the AMB receiver but you need to tell them so that they can associate the proper car # with the transponder.
