gtdrei: The owner still wanted $102K and so I said I was no longer interested. I will probably try to pursue MarkPcar's GT3.

As others have stated the 'trade in' reduces your bargaining power over a straight out cash (no dealer financing) purchase. That said there is a surplus of used GT3 cars on the market right now so it is a buyers market. Obviously, some color packages may sell for more than the average.
