Actually, it is roughly twice that money...

Did any '05 GT3's come equipped with PCCB mk.2? After all, they are on the '05 Turbo S....

Actually, this is a local car. I know the owner, who is a great driver at our local track, by the way. Oh, and those are PCCB calipers, but he had the rotors replaced by our dealership with steel ones a while back due to the obvious problems with PCCB. I believe he traded it in on a 360 CS. He will be able to do a great comparo between the two soon I'm sure--

My 05 GT3 (Nov 04 build date), came with what looks to be the first gen discs.

I made a voodoo doll modeled after what I think the buyer to look like. Stuck it chock full of pins last night. Called ecarlink this morning. Didn't work, looks like the buyer is actually going through with the deal. Oh well.

Geoff, what kind of laptimes was the owner pulling at MSR? Curions what the GT3s do there.

During the last DE he ran a couple high 1:19s on only a track alignment and hoosiers (he's also a member there). Definitely a very quick driver; althouth, his driving style is not quite like mine--he likes to slide the car a lot, while I will slip it as necessary. For comparison, I ran a 1:26 flat on stock alignment and stock tires--

1.19 is hauling ***. Helluva driver definitely. Tell him to post his impressions of the Fiat after he gets to MSR with it. I think your friend is the fella who Metalman (Iric) chases in his E46.

Price seems right, too bad he didn't just sell it on his own and leave the middleman out.

a lot of (most) states have sales tax credits for trade ins, so maybe he traded it in somewhere for slightly less including the sales tax credit than he would have gotten having to answer lotsa phone calls, deal with test drivers, always make sure it's presentable clean, answer tracking history questions, etc.

Good points and I understand the trouble of selling on you own. Just like to see one enthusiast dealing directly to another. To most salesmen, its just another 'unit'.

Thumbs down

On second thought, I've deleted my detailed post. If you want to know about the car, PM me. Today, I wasted 7 hours and 400 miles to buy this car. (prior buyer flaked and I was called that is was available).
