Default 2005 GT3 cup car in Rennlist classifieds

Anybody interested in buying a cup car might want to look in the classifieds. Wasn't Clubracer looking for one?

Some of the new car buyers had to pay sales tax as well so total cost to many was in the $140K range. Regardless the IMSA Cup series has peaked a lot of interest and the price for the cars has escalated, as people want 04 and 05 cars for the series. I was offered $160K for mine, but was not interested in selling. The buyer told me just give me a price and I will buy it.

That is a bit depressing as I am looking as well. But my top range is probably around $110,000.

I'll probably wait and see what happens to the market when the 997 Cup becomes available in NA. Probably won't help much due to the higher cost of the 997.

There was an '01 (not 100% sure) with extreamly low miles and all updates for sale in Fontana, asking $101k.

Kevin,

As soon as the IMSA Cup frenzy dies down you will be able to find and 03 or an 04 in your price range!

A friend of mine got the last 05 for approximately $130 including air cargo. Why pay $175 when you can get the 997 Cup for that price with many, many upgrades.

Having said that it is a sellers market. Not the time to buy. This time next year those cars will be down to the $110-125 level again.

Thanks JCM - I hope so. And I think Phillip is also right - now is not the time. Probably late this fall or winter will be right.

$175k buys me a federalized GT3RS, I can stick a license plate, get full coverage insurance and have a ball on the streets and track while having the pleasure to own an exclusive car

I was offered $135 for my 03 cup car, but did not take it. It is a sellers market right now.

I wasn't looking for a Cup for me, I previoulsy had one and sold it.

I received a call for Kelly Moss and they were looking for one. Jeff asked if I would help him find one.

I agree, the IMSA series is causing a little chaos in the market. The 05 in the classified.... well I hope he gets it, it will help the resale of all the Supercups, including my 96,that I presently have for sale.
