Default Brake pad sensor

Just put Pagid track pads on. Fronts have provision for sensors, rears don't. Anyone know how to keep the brake pad wear light off?

Just zip tie the sensor up and out of the way. Light only goes on when the sensor wears out. Zip-tied sensor won't trip the light.

Unplug the sensors.

If you're going Pagid track pads, then you're inspecting your brake pads before a track day.

The sensor light used to come on in my Boxster with plenty of brake pad left. When my front brake pads were gone in the GT3, the sensor light didn't come on.

I trust my own inspection better. The sensor light only comes on the dashboard when pads are gone (in theory).

I just did a search and couldn't find an answer, so decided to revive this short-lived thread....

I have RS19s on front and RS14s on back. At what minimum thickness (in mm) should I replace for each set?

Thanks!

if you are conservative, replace them when pad material is about the thickness of the backing plate.
if you are nuts like me, you can drive them until 1mm or less. but be careful, you will have more heat transfer to the fluids.

use the conservative method is what i recommend.
