I'm pretty sure they change all 4x shocks, the company i used to fit them, do a replacement kit for the srut mount tops to give extra degree of castor, if that's what you mean.

Hi Glenn, the RS kit is an $8k upgrade sold by Carnewall that includes all the parts that are different on the RS. It has many different parts, but the big ones are the wheel carriers and all the linkages. It is said to handle much better, but it has only been tested in the mags with the vastly superior Corsa & MPSCup tires, which on their own transform the car, so it is hard to get a gauge of the 'value' of the upgrade.
How much was the handling part of the package for you over there?

Ah right, i think i see what you are saying now....
I was unaware that such a kit existed, no my kit is nothing like that.
I think it's just the shocks/springs that are changed, i know the RS has similar suspension to the Cup car, which are both different to the standard MKII.
I had heard that the Design of the RS suspension is in someways flawed due to the wishbones actually working above there pivot point,as it is so low, don't ask me what this effect does though, it's just what i've heard !!
My Suspension cost approx £3000 inc fitting, so great value in my opinion.
I had it set up specifically for my MPS cup tyres.

The Manthey Racing Suspension kit contains new progressive springs front and rear, 14 positions double adjustable shocks, helper springs (tenders).
They also provide the optional monoball strut top with the 1 degree caster increase.
By the way, I'm not a fan of progressive springs.
