Default Ferrari Challenge Stradale

I found a 2004 Ferrari Challenge Stradale for sale for $118,000. It has 2400 miles on it, a US car and in perfect condition. I think the new 430 is killing the market on the old 360's - I was thinking of picking it up even though it is not as fast as the GT2, it might be fun to have for a while.

I have driven the 360, but not the Stradale edition - anyone have any experience with this car?

Some board members also have the CS, But that price sounds suspiciously low, check it out very carefully, preferably have a trusted Ferrari dealer do a buyer's inspection.

I think you've made a typo in the price...

That's hopefully a mistake. The Challenge Stradale's market value is over $180k in the US as of right now.

if it has been raced hard it may not be a bargin (you might need to spend $50k soon in repair) I would go to the f-car forums for help...

yeah, if it's indeed 118k and no stories, it's mostly likely sold by now ;-)

The car could be a Euro model with no warranty and an accident history of being totaled and repaired and it would bring more than $118k. Sticker is in the $195 to $200k area and they are still going used for $180k to $210k depending on colors, options, and miles. The price is wrong. They could walk into any Fcar dealer and walk out with a MUCH larger wholesale check in 5 minutes.

Are you sure it is not just a 360 Challenge car?

That's what I was thinking too. A used 2000-2002 could easily be worth in the low 100's.

A quick search of the Ferrari USA sight for this model reveals prices much higher. It's time to be careful.

Sounds like a 360 challenge car price.
