Default Cargraphic brake cooling kits

Has anyone tried either of these available kits? If so what are your thoughts/impressions over stock ducts?

It looks to me like both kits could be installed at the same time. The install of the second one looks easier and might require less maintenance. There will be less chance of worn or broken ducting since the duct doesn't enter the wheel well. It is hard to tell, but the first one doesn't look like it reduces ground clearance, if so that would be a problem. It looks like it takes air from the radiators that would otherwise enter the wheel well and be directed by the upper factory ducts. On the other hand the second one takes air from the center radiator that would otherwise be lost below the car. Assuming what I have said is true, I'd try the second one first.

In my opinion, fitting the 2nd one seems pointless. There is no air being directly aimed at the disc nor caliper, rather just in to the wheel wells and this would upset aerodynamics. At least the 1st one has guided airflow straight at the center if the rotor.

Ciao,

Johannes E.
