Hi Mike,

I like Diablo Automotive in Mountain View. Expensive but worth it.

Hey Mike,

John may correct me but I believe a full detail is in the range of $500-600. Diablo is right near downtown Mountain View and the Caltrain station is walking distance.

The GT2 is great. I just turned 12.5K miles!! Lets get together soon.

BTW how was the first track event??

mike, i had one of my C4S done by izzy. it was an easy color (silver). he chared $700, needed a lot of buffing due to OEM paint problem. he doesn't have a set price per se. he wants to see the car first and then give you the estimate. a friend of mine had his zanzibar red C4S done for $750. he went off T8 at WS the car was covered in dust in and out. izzy made the car new again.

Well Josh-!st track event was with NASA 2 weekends ago for 2 days which was uneventful-no spins plus I was in intermediate group so it was a learning experience with how the car behaved. Car gives alot of feedback so amount of steering/throttle adjustments to rotate the car is numerous. Brakes were phenomenal. Then I went with Speedventures this last weekend for 2 days driving between intermediate/advanced and boy what alot of tracktime compared to NASA. Spun about 3 times during the 2 days(scary on a wet track first day, first session). Nothing damaged but very dirty. Definitely alot more cars with speedventures were really excellent drivers. We got to meet up at some point : ). Mike

mike, try unlimited laps, as much time as SV but less cars.
have you run with GGLC, LOTS of track time. 4-5 hours/day.
holger runs with GGLC a lot. hope to see you and holger there next year.

John it be awesome to all meet up at event. Given that its Thanksgivng weekend there wasn't many cars. It averaged out about 10 cars per group. I must have driven at least 4 hrs per day which was great but got tired at the end(wiuth NAsa-only 4 sessions at 2o minutes each). Next year : ). Mike

Mike, check out Cailfornia Detailing on Fell between Gough & Octavia. I took my 996 there before I sold it and they did a nice job. I think they charge around $300. Call Jim @ 626-3691. Now that I think about it, you may have a problem clearance-wise getting your car into their shop (it's on the 2nd floor)...

Josh, when are we going to see you at the track?

Good question Holger. At this rate I may be choosing between the track and my job. Tough decision....

Hope all is well.
