DVR is what you need (TiVo or Replay). Once you go TiVo you don't go back!

TIVO sure makes this easy.
Just checked in my Sportscar (the SCCA magazine) with the runoff's results in it and Baker's best qualifying lap in T1 was only a few tenths slower than the fastest of the Cup cars which were running in GT2 and the rest of the Cup cars in GT2 (four or five I think) were a good bit slower than him, pretty impressive. This has to be driver skill and being familier with the track as I can't imagine a street GT3 being within two seconds of a cup car with all the extra weight it is carrying, especially since the cup car ought to be able to run full slicks in GT2.

Nice photo ZO6, I thought the wing angle looked pretty extreme on TV, looks like the exhaust is different too. By the way some of the things I said about lap times of Freddy's T1 GT3 Vs the GT2 class GT3's( a SCCA race classification) in my post above from last fall were incorrect.
Where is the Fred Baker Porsche dealership located? Maybe somebody could go by and find out as I would be interested in the set-up info too.

Cup cars are now allowed in GT2. They sent out a recent bulliten promoting this fact and have stated a goal of 10 - 12 Cup cars in this years runoffs.

Yes they were legal last year for that class and there were about four or five at the runoffs, they were not especially competitive with the top tier of the class and I think they run under certain 'limited prep' rules compared to the tube frame, weight/horsepower factor that all the other cars in that class use. That class hasn't been very well subscribed these last few years and I think the SCCA is hoping that with quite a few cup cars in the country some of those guys will want to come out and play with the SCCA and help keep that class alive.
