I got a set of BBS wheels (RE794, RE795 1 piece wheels)
Now those look really nice! Are they any lighter?

curtsm, where did you get your wheels from and what offsets did you go with? Thanks for the info as I assume those are MUCH cheaper then the mag. version Manthey sells yet look basically the same!

The wheels are 18x9 front, 50 offset; the rear are 18x11, 59.5 offset. I put 5mm spacers on the front to make the spacing math work out. I had 7mm H&R spacers machined to 5mm. Also, I'm using 60mm steel race studs and steel lug nuts. (These help get the weight back up but I'm paranoid and like threads sticking out of bolts on track/race cars.)
I got them from Speedware Motorsports in Redmond, WA. I think that most BBS dealers can get them -- RE 794 in front RE795 in back. There was some miscommunication between BBS Europe, BBS US and BBS Japan about these wheels and they seemed to finally understand when an inquiry was sent asking about how to get the BBS Porsche Cup wheels.
