Talking Installed Cup Car Mesh screens

Picked up these mesh screens from Gert, however they dont fit with the "Frame" around the front bumper, no big deal, so I removed the frame.

The screens work great. I was at the track and they stopped most of the larger chunky debris from getting into the radiators. No rubber pieces and no big rocks. Yeeehhhaaa.

Were you able to see any increase in oil/water temperature? The screens, by design, must limit the airflow somewhat. The question is whether there is enough cooling margin to allow the reduced flow.

Are you serious? Dude, these are metal mesh screens not cardboard cut outs.

No, temps are fine.

Cosmos,

Actually there were some individuals that posted before that were pretty concerned with the negative effects of the metal mesh so plima's question is in line with the thinking of many others. None the less I'm glad to here that it hasn't affect the oil or water temp in any way.

Now for the most important part, how about some photos!!
