2. looks like some kind of grey market import with HUGE conversions...

very sloppy.

Hm. The picture is taken in Germany - I recognize the background, so I assume that's where the car is. Maybe someone's just trying to figure out how much someone's prepared to pay for the import.

There's a (somewhat fishy) Danish exotic car importer that frequently have cars from the same dealership. (Look here: http://www.dennigcars.com/porsche_for_sale.htm). For more or less obvious reasons they go to a lot of trouble to hide the name of the German company, but it's definately the same building.

Found the German shop where the picture is taken though: http://www.autodromo.de/

They still have it listed and are asking €131.000,- (same picture as in the ebay ad)

Not criminal, I'm sure, just odd.

david, since you went to see it, was it legit?

grey market import? real import? how did they get it certified?

He has a Florida title and all original parts that he had to take off for the conversion,like cage,fuel tank.ect...

interesting... but certainly an 'impure' car - at best.

one would be better off just getting a GT3 and modding it themself with the difference, why go to so many grey-market tactics and butchering just to get a factory GT3.
