Any new Speed Yellow GT3s left out there?
I'm posting this for a friend. Basically, we went to the 997 intro at Circle Imports here in Long Beach and there was a 996 GT3 he fell in love with. The only problem is, the car has PCCB and I told him to wait and let me see if I could find one with the steel brakes. Anyway, he's looking for a Speed Yellow GT3 (delivery miles, must be brand new) with steel brakes, and belts/rear console in yellow. Other than that, options don't matter. If you have any leads, I'd appreciate it. He's basically ready to buy within 24 hours of finding the right car. Please send leads to ZAMIRZ@sbcglobal.net
thanks,

They've advertised that one in Autoweek for at least 2 months. One would think that you should be able to get a good deal.

There's one at Manhattan Motor Cars in New York City where I bought my GT3 a month ago. I was there on Saturday to see the new 997's and it was on the showroom floor. I know it had SY deviated stitching. These guys are pro's, no horsing around slick sales types, just plain and simple. Call Richard Prigge 212-594-6200, he's their sales manager and great guy to do business with.

There are 2 ways I know of to search for a specific new car:
1) Call a dealer. They can search the nationwide new car database and tell you exactly how many are available with your specs and which dealers have them.
2) Search the database yourself @ http://www.porschedealer.com/dealer/index.html
I did it this way state by state in my region of the country. Click on a specific dealer, then New Cars, then 911 Series and scroll thru the inventory. When you see one you like, click on it and you can see all the options and sometimes the MSRP. It's not as time consuming as it sounds if you know what you want.
The only drawback with both of these approaches is that sometimes the cars are already sold and some cars aren't yet in the database but may be on the lot. I also called the bigger dealers to double check their inventory and sometimes found cars that weren't listed or were incoming.
Good luck.

That's what I suspected. Just wanted to spell it out for those that aren't aware of that website option (Scott brought it to my attention and it was very helpful in my search).
