Thumbs up GT3 has new tail !!!

Well I did it and I am very happy with the piece. Special thanks to Gert at Carnewal...he had been trying to get one for over 7 months. The shipping packaging was impeccable as it is a fragile piece in one sense of the word. True carbon fiber composite construction. It is hollow and very light. Looks like a high tech aircraft wing.

Beauty! Now I really can't wait for mine to arrive from Gert!! Was install straightforward? Did you happen to weigh the stock vs carbon wings?

I've never been so jealous of a car in my life. I think I agree with cosmos. I don't know you but I'm pretty sure I don't like you!!! .

Hey Chris...look familiar??

It does really fit the car better than the stock wing.

Rockitman,

It look's cool ... do you have any more pictures from outside of the garage?

Yes, it's the RS wing....straight swap out from the stock wing....10 minutes to remove the old and install the new. Those are just quick pics...I will have pics with better perspective done outside ect in a few days...

Your car is awsome. I love how it's "too good" to sit on the bare garage floor since you have it pedestaled on the little blocks.

Beautiful... What, if any, are the aerodynamic effects, (more downforce, etc ?) . I'm also curious, if anyone knows what the effect of installing the 8 degree wing shims might be.

I am assuming greater down force at higher speeds due to the greater surface area of the RS vs. stock wing. Whether it's noticeable or not, I won't know till tomorrow when I take it out for a good spin..

As Larry mentioned, it almost feel's half as light...just pop the caps on the inside of each wing support and remove the torx screw on each side. Pull the wing up and out. When putting the new one on, one side goes in and the other won't. Use a screw driver to push the pressure plate inside the wing support and it will slide all the way in. Replace the screws then caps...
