Default Console Delete Option

Hi Folks,
I have an '04 GT-3 and I wish I would have known about the console delete option. Does anybody happen to know the part numbers required for the conversion?

Thanks much,
Curt

Curt: That option isn't available thru PCNA, at least on any of the GT3 order guides I've seen, so don't feel bad about not knowing about it.

Also got mine at Suncoast- not that hard to install. Do a EVO shiftlink update at the same time while you have the console off anyway. Good instructions for DIY over at renntech.org...

The only North American Porsche to offer the console delte was the 04 Special Edition Boxster S.

However, all parts are available from your Porsche dealer.

If I read PET right, this should include everything you need.
The main cover piece - 986 552 113 03 A10

If not, then here are the other pieces you may need.
Clamp (2) - 999 507 533 02
Carpet covers (left & right) - 986 552 513 02 A10 & 986 552 514 02 A10
Trim piece - 986 552 241 02 A03 (plastic) 996 552 127 00 A11 (leather)

Why is the Console Delete standard on the Boxster Special Edition and not even an option on any other Porsche??? I would think there would have to be some reason.
