Mike, loosen the two torx bolts that are behind the caps on the inside of each upright. Piviot the wing up, slide in the shim, drop the wing back down onto the shim, and retighten. Voila.

Is that the same plan for fixing it on too?
(mine is on the way, can't wait, should look sweet on Slate too.)

Andrew, to install the wing, you have to remove the bolts, and pivot the wing up. There is a button inside that you have to press to release the wing tracks from the upright. Should not take more than a minute to do this. The new wing will pivot right back in place. Then replace the bolts.
