Default Tow strap assembly

For any of you track guys lookin for.a tow strap assembly, I installed the one made for BMWs by Turner Motorsports. It's really well made from a billet piece of steel and uses the same oddball 20mm thread as Porsche uses. For the rear the 55mm works perfect for the OEM bumper. They also sell a 75mm version which would likely work in the front although I use a different set up there. I folded the strap over for a more compact set up and secured it with a zip tie which can be quickly pulled off if needed.

Do you have a euro crash bar or is that tie strap mount under the bumperette mounts you removed?

It's the lightweight 996RSR rear bumper bar. Those didn't have the bumperettes and located the tow hook there.

Those look really neat. I have been looking for a replacement for the tow strap that was fitted to my cup car as control item back in 2003 when it ran in Carrera Cup Australia. My rear strap is partially torn. Mine has velcro stitched onto it so you can easily fold it up and out of the way when not in use, which is very handy.
