I think your brother may have killed the last remaining Wild Deer in LA County.

It is still wild land out there, I saw a fully grown mountain lion just past ToW a couple of years back, I just couldn't believe the size of it. I was cruising with my gal in the Z8, top down, chilling, and it ran right infront of us, passed all of 15 ft off the front bumper, it was going like stink too. Must have seen a rabbit or something, and figured it could use the car to cover it's attack. I've seen planety of deer and coyotes up there too, which is why I never drive fast on my own up there. In a group I feel good a car or two back from he who wants to be fastest, the 'cowcatcher' I call him.

Where did your brother hit the deer? (We have 6 that live in my Glendale neighborhood but I'm used to them by now.)

hit it on stunt road, in the Malibu mountains. towards the bottom, the short straight after the off camber. (I beleive there was a thread about that section of road in this forum before? I'm sure John D. remembers deleting it )

Sorry to see Leor's car like that, glad he's ok!

I think what's needed is Mountain Lion whistle to scare Bambi off.

Strange, same thing almost happened to me this weekend. Mad Bambi started running along side me while I'm driving, then it decides to jump infront of me, leading the way, then off into the bushes. I think it was looking for it's mother.

I'd suggest a TOW BBQ, but i don;t think some would appreciate that too much.
