I have heard that the '04 GT3 RS does not have cupholders. Can an RS owner confirm this, and, if so, tell me how the center vent area is setup instead of having the cupholders. Is there simply a blank panel or are the vent openings larger or some other solution? Photos a help, part numbers a godsend. Thanks.
In the parts database, it shows the same part, called "beverage support," for all variants of the GT3. Not sure, however, as not everything has proven to be correct in this database.

Which ones? The ones on the doors? That's how all GT3's and GT2's come. Even the North American versions. In fact, that's what you get on any 996 without the Hi-Fi and/or the Bose option.
Originally posted by Cupcar HMM, I wonder what the storage pockets replacing the speakers in doors described for the GT3RS are then?
Yes, and on the same page, it says the GT3RS has no cupholders. We know that this is not correct. Here's a pic of my US GT3's interior. You can see the door pocket on the passenger side.
I believe only the RHD GT3RS's came with cup holders...
Well, then, that takes us back to my original question: Does the RS have cupholders? Sean, can you positively confirm that the LHD version does not have them? Anyone here have a European RS for reference?
