Not on hand no, and unfortunately it will be a few weeks before I could get them for you.

All good - thanks anyway!

M&M is working with me through Gert so it appears like I'll have some sort of resolution.

Was this set up from m&m or sold as fvd? Should be the same product but curious. I do know the folks at fvd in FL have been great to deal with.

On my 7-3 fvd set up the brackets that hold the side mufflers dont fit my motor well and i cant figure it out. New brackets were over $700 ea so i just made them work.

From M&M via Carnewal. Should be the same item minus FVD markup.

Sorry, I tried to get some pics but couldn’t get any angle that would be helpful with everything all buttoned up.

Have you tried mounting the muffler to check if it’s in the right spot or needs to rotate at all?

Also, suggest using gasket maker or something between the elbow joins where the springs go and also the mufflers, I had lots of leaks until I took it apart again and did that.

Finally, the clamps that go next to the X that connect to the exhaust mount cause a high freq vibration at ~3k that can be seen in the rear view mirror and felt in the windshield. I loosened mine almost completely to get rid of it and may remove them at some point.

Well, for a relatively nominal fee M&M is going to remake my x-pipe. I think I am happy with the resolution. My mistakes were 1. waiting a year to install this stupid thing and 2. going through the vendor when I should have just contacted M&M directly.

Silver lining: they sent me a picture of my old x-pipe on their jig, which appears to be an actual full Mezger just lying around haha. Pretty neat. Thanks everyone for posting pictures of your installs -- they helped me validate that I was not going insane.

Nice! I missed the update so last night while swapping mufflers, I took lots of pics for you. Guess you don’t need them now 😁

I swapped from the Fabspeed mufflers the previous owner had put on to M&M sport export mufflers from Carnewal. 100x improvement. It now sounds good at all rpms (Fab sounded wheezy and weak below 4k), the high frequency vibration I had at 3k is gone, no drone still. It’s also subtle until you get on it, which is nice. When you do get on it, it sounds mean.

Much appreciated regardless. Thank you! Stoked to hear your new setup. Post some video when you get a chance!

I will once I find a setup that cuts wind noise. Anyone have recommendations?

One other positive I noticed. The car used to hesitate or bog a little leaving the line and at certain lower rpms. I changed the MAF with no change and thought it was just the nature of the car.

Now, it takes off so smoothly, it’s caught me by surprise a couple times and I’ve launched it at lights due to being used to giving it extra gas 🤣. It feels better everywhere. I didn’t think it was possible to enjoy this car more, but I was wrong.
