Hello all,
Currently looking to buy a used 2004 Porsche GT3.
I will pay no more than 110k.
Any offers beyond that will not even be considered. I have time and I am in no rush to find one immediately, I will wait for the one that is priced adequately and fits all my boxes.
The color can be any color, I would prefer if it has been kept out of the sun when not in use for extended periods of time.
It needs to be a manual (stick shift)
miles can be as high as 100k if an oil change and or filter change has been done around 5k-7k mile increments, and there are records to prove it.
I would prefer there to be no accidents.
If it has had minor bumper damage and has had bumpers replaced with OEM parts that would be acceptable.
Either reply here to this thread or message me personally if you have or know of a gt3 or seller that would be Interested.
Thank you for your time.

Yeah I saw this one
I get the joke I know they only came with manuals, 😂😂😂 also I saw this one but the car fax or report for the repairs and oil and filter change and how much it has sat is not attractive. And they come with my problems if they sit for too long

No problem at all, I can understand why that might have looked white. I think it's not the wort I've seen for sure, I am going to email them and ask for the DME report and historical vehicle maintenance report and see how it is.

Thank you very much! I had not come across this one, I am very worried to see the Track incident though. especially 6k worth of repairs. My best guess it was the transmission from not putting in the clutch as it spun, a Money shift, or if the coolant lines had not been pinned when this occurred it could have dumped coolant, and needed to be repaired.

Preamble History:
There were a TOTAL of 3,230 2.7 Carreras built between 1973 and 1976 but the 1583 built in the 1st year are worth all the money. 1st generation, like it or not, will always command a premium.
I know of a really nice black one is but it won't be $110,000. Not marketed and owned by a collector broker friend.
Regarding economic climate.
Guys I know or have known in the business with staying power and the ability to weather market fluctuations have done very very well. The pumped and dumped Turbo market finally came back but the weak hands bailed and a lot of money was lost out of fear. I recall an auction house specialist telling me that he was turning away 930's when the market tanked and the owners all wanted reserves that met what they had paid. Doesn't work that way in a falling market. BTW, a well known PCA contributor wrote an article hailing these as great collector cars and put some pretty wild numbers on them at the time.
Here's an article on that ugliness:
https://www.hagerty.com/media/market...che-911-turbo/
The aforementioned gentleman holding the Black 6GT was at Amelia with a very nice silver over lobster 930. He got out JUST IN TIME and was happy to miss the falling knives.
Holding in uncertain times can paid dividends but you may have to hold for longer than is comfortable so YMMV. '73 RS's bounced all over the place for years until roughly the time the 6 GT's took off (circa 2014)
Watched a '73RS go across the block for 7 figures at an auction and recalled I could have bought the same car for $72,000 in 2004. The '73S I had at the time I viewed and drove it was not a lot different to me. Sure the RS was up 10% hp and 8% torque on paper. Flairs are neat but "no real value here" I thought.
These retreated some in the past 3-4 years but are back now in the midst of a poor economy.
Good luck with the hunt!
