...also wouldn't suggest the 680's on the stock ABS...ice mode is super scary. There is a 315/660 Pirelli that would probably work and obviously the 305/645's work even if they are technically front tires.

So i can diffinatively say that a 680 rears will drive the mk2, gt3 abs crazy and put u into ice mode. I have a set of 305/660-18 scrubs coming so i can test them. They actually have less diameter difference then the nt-01s i am using now so they should work fine.
