Default 2 GT-3's incoming in to Brumos @ MSRP + 05' info

FYI....
if anyone is looking - (the silver one is really tempting - but i'm already going into the hole fixing my 92' cup car)

Contact Mike Macon @ Brumos - 904-726-3350

Both cars at sticker, both unchangable at this point, neither has PCCB

Black/Black - full leather
yellow belts/yellow stiching full
a/c, storage lid w/ logo
alu look gauges
Xenon's
crest in headrests
carbon gear ****
rear console - leather
$110,675.00
May delivery Code ACPORD - VIN assigned

Artic Silver/Black
A/C, Xenon, carbon sills, mats
$104,775.00
June delivery - ORDXMC

not affialiated - etc.

also for 05's (which is why i was there)
this is uncomfirmed btw...

this stuff is from another source....

there will be 200 GT-3's made in 05' given the fact that there are 205 dealers in the US - it's going to be tight....nothing planned after that until....

Expect the 997 in the following order, figure 10-12 months between intro's
(normal porsche stuff)

05' Coupe (2&4) (no turbo coupes, some cabs, C2/4 cab unchanged)
06' Cab & maybe targa (if it makes it - it is really slow selling and might be dropped)
07' turbo & GT-3 + S models of the 2&4 coupe (late 07' ,possibly 08')
no word on the GT-2 - the need for a "Halo" car is taken by the CGT (rumors that this will stay in production if demand is there)

also i'm sure everyone knows this now but the 997 is a reskin of the 996 and will carry over some 80% (+/-) of the parts.
New 997 cup and RSR versions are in the works and might debue this year.

once again - not affialiated - all above is subject to me being 100% wrong
Etc.

Rob;

I am dealing with Mike Macon on another car and noticed your post. Being located in Washington state how did you come to deal with Mike Macon and Brumos?
Thanks

...
They might make a 997 cup for their own series, but they would have to homologate the new body style for them to make a 997 RSR. The current 996 GT3 RSR was just homologated with the 996 GT3 RS and is good through 2009 (5 years). That being said, I highly doubt that new RSR versions will be released this year unless the rumored 05 GT3's are going to be the new body style too. I suspect the turbo and GT cars will not be produced in the 997 body style.

i am orignally from Gainesville and stop in at Brumos when i am in town. I have bought a few cars from them over the years (a 91' 964 cab the last)

- from my info the RSR will be just new front fenders and suspension geometry will carry over from the RS (already homoligated). so the hard points will be the same.
my 2 cents
