Any body see oily streak on windows when putting it down, after you have washed car? I'm know it is probaly from a guide in door that is lubed. Has been doing it since I got car, have waited hoping it would stop with use because i really don't want Dealer to take door panels off if I can help it.

Mine does the same, but has reduced to almost none, now that I have about 1400 miles on the car. I don't want the dealer to take the door aprt neither...

Mine does it too, towards the front end of the drivers side window, passenger side seems ok though?

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the GT3 has thinner glass than is installed in the other Porsche models, can anyone verify this?

I get it but I thought it was on the passenger side - you can tell how concerned I am I guess I'm at about 6k miles and I think it still appears sometimes.

I have 9,000 miles an it rarely happens anymore. Seems to happen more after the car is washed.

I also get it - if you look closely in the rubber trim, you will see a tiny drain tube - I'm sure that is the culprit.

Must be unique to GT3's- mine still does it on the driver's door only at 4400 miles! Have to ask a friend with a C4S if his does it or is it just on our cars???

No problem here, but I dont roll the windows after a wash.

Not unique to GT-3's...my 2002 does it as well, drivers side window only.
