I was ordering a set of wheels for the GT3 at Bob Woodman Tires.

This the information I provided:

f: 18" x 8.5" offset 40, bolt pattern 5x130

r: 18" x 11" offset 64, bolt pattern 5x130

I'm interested on a set of BBS 3-pieces wheels. I was asked for the Back Spacing in inches


What's is this?

FWIW, the rear wheels have an offset of 63 mm.

Also, BBS makes references to offsets. I wonder why Woodman is asking for the backspacing.

Backspacing = width / 2 + offset
