Are the GT3 RS rare? Any idea on how many will be made? Worth the premium over the standard GT3?
I'm attracted to the fact that it should be quite an exclusive model like the original 73 RS. Plus, I trust it's a potent weapon on the road.

Sounds like a good deal for a real GT3RS then. I think $20K US would just about cover the parts required to convert a "standard" GT3 to a GT3RS but then you'd just have a converted car. Not that I'd mind converting mine at some point in the future but if I had the opportunity for a US legal GT3RS that's definitely the version of the GT3 I'd have chosen.

From the official Porsche importer?
Hongkong must be just about the only place in the world where there isn't a substantial shortage of GT3RS's. But that importer has so much power with PAG that he can get any number of cars he wants. It really is quite amazing sometimes how big his allotment is.
You will register and use it in Hongkong? Or export it? I presume it must be RHD to be legal in Hongkong. There is such a shortge of RHD GT3RS's in the UK at the moment that you could definately make a substantial profit by immediately exporting it to the UK.
In a way, it is kind of sad to have such a nice car on the roads of Hongkong.
You will definately have trouble getting it in and out of garages in Hongkong. You might even have to back it in. It is that low.
