Hello everyone. New 2004 996 GT3 owner and in the process of my first project. The resources online have been phenomenal. I’m a DYI guy with a lift so I dropped the motor and transmission out. It had a first gear synchro problem and needed the coolant lines pinned/general 18 year old car maintenance. Can someone recommend or point me to a good service manual for the car. I’ll be putting the transmission back in soon and want some reference material. I see stuff for standard Carrera models, but nothing GT3 specific. Did a Search on the forum and didn’t see anything specific. Appreciate the input!

there is lots avail for the 996 turbo which has the same engine and although it has turbos added, a different slave cylinder, I believe most everything else is same. so look for 996 turbo diys. good luck!

The Porsche AG workshop manuals for the 996 included pages for items unique to the GT3. Used sets of manuals come up for sale every so often and are somewhat expensive.
