They ship it in without a drivetrain and then you have one installed. Then I think it's registered as a kit car or something similar. Details are probably found on the website above. Not sure about the RHD version though - that's unusual but maybe it was a similar thing? Quite a package.

Dusty,
I would have loved to tag along, but I have to get my car working. I'm in the middle of doing the vacuum stuff. also I may be replacing the oil pressure relief valve and oil pressure sender in hopes that it will fix my little oil pressure issue. Altough I have pulled them off and cleaned them, I think their just dirty, and I will try that first. I didn't really think about cleaning the oil cavaties on the new turbo I put on, and that dirt, if there was any, prbably clogged the OPRV. After this my car should be running very well. It better, cause I didn't sign up for a damn restoration project. I think its just a phase, its just rolling over at 120,000 and at 17 years old, some of the stuff needs replacement.
If the car works, I won't be there next weekend, as I'm meeting some people at Laguna seca saturday, and going to a NorCal 944 run on Sunday.

1G Racing sent me a beautiful promo package with magazine articles, info and a great video. It is an extremely fast and well balanced car. The total cost will end up being around $75,000, once complete.

They said to mention all cars welcome....nonP-cars too.
If they ask, please let them know that Dusty from Village Coffee Roaster informed you. I am trying to get them here more regularly....perhaps it will help.

If you have their emails, or a way of contacting them, then let's try and start something, how about Sunday 23rd, 7 am. I'd suggest starting a new thread here to let everone know, offer a free cookie to anyone showing a Porsche ignition key.
